We must not allow other people’s limited perceptions to define us. — Virginia Satir

Bell played for nearly an hour on his $3.5 million Stradivarius. More than a thousand people passed him by, with only one man stopping to listen — for three minutes, total. Interestingly, every single child who passed DID try to stop, but in every case was hurried along by a harried and embarrassed adult.
Altogether, a little over thirty-two dollars was dropped into the violin case of one of the world’s greatest musicians.

I am not surprised at all. It’s horrible but it’s life.
