What a beautiful tribute! I love that you say she "taught you how to be a neighbor." A gift indeed.

"Almost," you never cease to amaze me how thoughtful and kind you and your whole family are. This is beautiful. I spent 3 years with Betsy in EFM and she truly taught me about living. We all miss her sweet smile and wonderful attitude. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the beautiful tribute to Betsy. If she taught you to be a "neighbor," she taught me that whatever age you are, you can still make new "true friends."

Hi Elizabeth, I had to go back and look at this again. I must tell you that one day we were rehearsing the choir, and I told the person next to me that I could have sworn I heard Betsy's laugh in the nave at Ascension. It was so real to me, that I still believe I heard her! We all still miss her and her delight in everything. I am still so thankful that I was able to be with her some toward the end and even to play the piano for her in her final hours. She was such a blessing to everyone she encountered.
