Interesting point re the 40 days. I'm thinking about 800 days might be the MOST accurate for us slower learners?

Hmmm, though I read the WSJ most every day I have completely missed the 90-day series. Thanks for alerting me to it!

And I wonder, too, why 90. To my mind, 40 days is the most "traditional" period for renewal, I think after Christ's 40 days and nights in the desert. With new presidents, it's always "the first 100 days" that's touted as somehow important. And, of course, there was that old saw about how you had to stay in a new job at least a year or you were chopped liver.

But 90 is as good as any.

Thanks for visiting, <del datetime="2008-03-13T14:24:07+00:00">Randy</del> MR. ILLITERATE MYSOGYNIST SPAMMER .The basic layout for my blog (or "Theme") was designed by WordPress (the blogging software I use): the header image in this particular "theme" is changable, so I uploaded an image I made myself, as described in an earlier "how to" post about using a flickr headline tool.

(NB: this comment was written in reply to a comment I've since removed, from a spammer trying to draw readers from my site to up the ad stats on his own, total-garbage site. My software even initially ID'd his comment as spam and I should have believed it. I've left my response here, though, as others have asked about my site's header recently, as well!)
