I have a midlife crisis scheduled to begin next June 14. That’s when I turn 44 years, 4 months, and 4 days. (Garrison Keillor’s formula for the classic midlife crisis age, as I recall it.) I’m looking forward to it!
Budd and Rufus (sounds like I’m addressing a coupla hillbillies): thanks for commenting. Not so sure about the “delight” part, but look forward to hearing about someone ELSE’S midlife crisis come June.
“Encore” by Marc Freedman (am not sure if I have the spelling right) is a wonderful book about jobs for boomer types. This may be a group older than you, though. Still, the book was inspiring and hopeful and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Hang in there! You have so much going on right now so my (not wildly original) advice is to take one thing at a time……
