Only Almostgotit would buy a new washing machine that is currently the object of a class-action suit.
Good News:
Almostgotit’s new washing machine was not available for delivery or even in stock at the warehouse, so she can go back to the store tomorrow and cancel the whole thing and…
More Good News:
… buy a much cheaper one that Consumer Reports recommends.
Which Almostgotit should have done in the first place.

Doh! At least you nearly have a washing machine. I lasted about seven months without one and never ever want to repeat the experience! Talk about sore hands – wringing out jeans and duvet covers really does suck!

@ Cyn: Almostgotit readers won’t have any idea what you mean about my wanting a nosectomy, ’cause you read that on my FACEBOOK page! (but FYI: Knoxville is the world’s worst place to live for sinuses. And no drug on the planet does a thing for mine…)

It sure did, Dennis. I sold it for $100,000 on Ebay and was able to buy washing machines for all my friends, too.

Ack and double ack, WG! I left off the attributive link for the lemon! I do know I found it in a couple places (neither of which I can find again now, of course) so I was trying to decide which URL to cite as my source. This sort of thing matters to me, though, so I’ll see if I can find at least *a* source.
(update) Hmm. Have decided to sub a Creative Commons image instead.

Yep we can run a washing machine on the solar power. Tend to use short cycles and cool water though!
