My 12-year-old daughter turned into a 13-year -old one a couple weeks ago.
I’m not sure how I feel about this.
Fortunately, 13-year-old girls seem to be as fun as 12-year-old ones are, which is reassuring.
She’s going to be famous someday, and I’m not just saying that because she’s my daughter. Well, maybe that is part of the reason I’m saying it, but Maddie Bradshaw is proof that even 13-year-olds can become company presidents.

What do you think will bring your daughter fame? I never thought of you as someone who HUNGERED, absolutely hungered, for her daughter’s fame. By the way, I’m writing this as if I was writing on someone’s facebook page and I don’t know if that’s the right approach. Should I be more professional here?

Absolutely not.

I’m keeping the coat Pooh Bear still has, cause it used to belong to your daughter. Maybe it will go in the Hall of Fame for something or another.

You mean the one we got at the school uniform store in England? Because it looked so cute and Madeleine-ish? And which she hated at first but then liked because, when worn with her black rain boots, she looked (according to her approving elder brother) like a German SS soldier?
