Weekend Almostsentences
June 27, 2009 By: almostgotit Category: James Viscosi, Uncategorized, humor
Inspired by friend David, here are a few sentence fragments. Can you finish one or all of them? (I wrote all but the last fragment, which I stole from James Viscosi’s book, Dragon Stones).
Or can you come up with even better ones?
Humor counts. I might even send you a prize.

bitter lettuce, but Gladys did

bitter lettuce, but Gladys did
as we all have done, the wrankling avocado
and the frantic moon that Mabel saw
–she saw she saw–she said
the puckered tomato of the second stair
turned
a better leaf and the doubting kale
crushed shall be as a beginning
saleh, saleh
yo!
