I was disgusted when the story broke. So much so, in fact, that whilst trolling through free movies on Comcast during an insomniac episode a couple of nights ago, I passed over one directed by Mr. P. He needs to go to jail.

A similar thing happened in the ballet world a few years back when NYCB director Peter Martins was arrested for beating up on his wife, principal ballerina Darci Kistler. The charges were mysteriously dropped later….

This case, though, is more egregious since it involved a child.

Dave, Roman, Michael, countless politicians so wrapped up in their narcissism boundaries are smeared away or broken through to suit their own selfishness. Reminds of my Grandma’s judgment on graffitti, “Fools names are often found in public places.” Chowderheads one and all.

“Swiss ex-minister: Polanski should’ve been warned.” About what? That he had committed a crime and people wanted to arrest him for it? And, hello NEWS FLASH: Polanski has a tiny little tendency to skip bail and leave the country when people try to catch him. Who owes him a “warning” or any other damn thing?

Weird about Letterman, too. The monologue is so slimy. “Would you like to hear a little story?” he says to the audience, and they fall right into his hands. Yuk.

I’ve never quite understood why France chose to give him safe harbor all those many years ago.

Another in the entertainment world to voice outrage against Polanski is Sherri Sheppard of the The View.

There are those who say that the victim has forgiven him, why shouldn’t the government. Interesting concept. Is that how the laws work now? I missed the memo.
